Memory Lane

Almost 9 years ago I had my 2nd child.I already had a son so I was very excited about having a girl.Now let me introduce my daughter Kelsey to you.Kelsey was born on July 3rd 2000.Her due date was October 1st 2000.She weighed in at 2 pounds 6 ounces and 11 3/4 inches long.I didn't get to see or touch her until she was 7 day's old since they transported her away from the hospital where she was born.She was legally blind and a hemorriage was pushing her brain to the left side of her head.The doctors gave us no hope of her ever crawling,walking,or talking.We prayed and guess what!!!She is a normal 8 year old girl.She can talk,run,walk,ride a bike,etc.This is Kelsey at 7 day's old (the 1st time I got to see my baby).

This is one of my favs.She was so gentle as to not drop the baby.She gently laid Ashley aside so they could both sleep.The bottom pic is her on her 4th birthday.

Not Me Monday!

Nah!Just a little poison ivy.I think I will look up those 3 things below and see if they even come from swine's,cows,and birds.Happy Monday everyone.I did not have a terrific time on my "date" Saturday night.Donald and I did not go to sonic and sit and eat while watching all the young kids try to run over each other.I did not need that date at all.Nope not me.I was not going to buy a new lawn mower yesterday so I could mow the yard.Donald did not fix the one I bought last year so he could mow the yard.Nope surely not.I did not let Justin skip school today so he could go to Springfield with granny to pick up Grandpa from the airport.No way.......why would I let my child do such a thing?This is not my first not me Monday post and of course I'm not having fun with it ;).I most certainly did not pile my curb in a ton of trash knowing it was going to rain.I would never stand at the window and feel guilty about piling so much out so the trash men had to load it in the rain.That would be to mean of me and of course I did not laugh at them and tell my friend they was earning their pay today.I did not run into a lady that dislikes me last week and she would not of been kind to me.It had not been 13 years since she had seen me and I was not crossing my fingers hoping she didn't reconize me.I did not get an email from the above mentioned lady today asking if that was me.I did not lose yet another cousin over the weekend.This was not the 3rd relative I have lost this year.I did not wash all my dishes today so I could cook a nice supper.Well that was not my first attempt at Not Me Monday.I hope you did not enjoy it ;)

My Oldest

This is all about my first born.On February 24th 1999 I had my first baby.He was 6 weeks early and weighed in at 5 pounds 5 ounces and 19 inches long.His lungs wasen't fully developed so he was on oxygen for awhile.2 weeks after he was born he got to come home.He is a happy healthy normal 10 year old now and weighs nearly as much as me (he is bigger in the waist then I am).This picture was taken the day after he was born.

And this would be Justin now.He knows he is the oldest and uses that against the other kids.He is mostly a fun loving child but sometimes he thinks he is 20 instead of 10.

Hi,I am here to post a blog about going down memory lane.So let's begin a blast from the past.I was raised in the country with my mom,dad,and 2 sisters.I have 1 older sister and her name is Chrissy and I have 1 younger sister named Kyla.Yes that leaves me to be the middle child.

Clay Balls

A man was exploring caves by the Seashore. In one of the caves he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls. It was like someone had rolled clay balls and left them out in the sun to bake. They didn't look like much, but they intrigued the man, so he took the bag out of the cave with him. As he strolled along the beach, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out into the ocean as far as he could. He thought little about it, until he dropped one of the clay balls and it cracked open on a rock . Inside was a beautiful, precious stone! Excited, the man started breaking open the remaining clay balls. Each contained a similar treasure. He found thousands of dollars worth of jewels in the 20 or so clay balls he had left. Then it struck him. He had been on the beach a long time. He had thrown maybe 50 or 60 of the clay balls with their hidden treasure into the ocean waves. Instead of thousands of dollars in treasure, he could have taken home tens of thousands, but he had just thrown it away! It's like that with people. We look at someone, maybe even ourselves, and we see the external clay vessel. It doesn't look like much from the outside. It isn't always beautiful or sparkling, so we discount it. We see that person as less important than someone more beautiful or stylish or well known or wealthy. But we have not taken the time to find the treasure hidden inside that person. There is a treasure in each and every one of us. If we take the time to get to know that person, and if we ask God to show us that person the way He sees them, then the clay begins to peel away and the brilliant gem begins to shine forth. May we not come to the end of our lives and find out that we have thrown away a fortune in friendships because the gems were hidden in bits of clay. May we see the people in our world as God sees them. I am so blessed by the gems of friendship I have with you. Thank you for looking beyond my clay vessel. APPRECIATE EVERY SINGLE THING YOU HAVE, ESPECIALLY YOUR FRIENDS! LIFE IS TOO SHORT AND FRIENDS ARE TOO FEW! Pass this on to another Clay Ball!!! My better half

This is my hunny.His name is Donald and I call him my better half.He is the one that can get on my nerves super fast but turn around and say one little thing and I love him all over again.We met on May 2,1997.I was 14 and he was 17.My oldest sister and Donald was going to school together at the time and Donald had a class at the fire department by our house early the next morning so Chrissy invited him to stay at our house so he wouldn't have to get up so early.That night was a fun night.He chased me around the church yard and down the street and when he caught me he held me tight and asked me out.Of course I said yes. On August 14,1999 we went to the church to get married.I was 17 and he was 20 so we didn't have alot of common sense.Last summer he went on a rampage so I booted him to the curb.I sat around and thought about it for a few day's and decided not to waste my life pouting over a monster so I moved on.I filed for a divorce which felt like it took forever then on the day of court I was informed our marriage liscence was not legal and that we were not married.Now darn it I wanted to get a divorce.I couldn't go to the preacher and ask him to fix those darn papers because he passed away a few months before that.So now I guess I will have a big fancey wedding someday.

Please take our rain

This is not all I had but it is the 1 pic I got before my batteries went dead.

We have gotten alot of rain lately.We live in a dip where all the city water flows when it rains and it tends to wash the drive way out each and every time.We have a huge red clay dirt pile in the back yard that never got hauled away and the kids really enjoy it.Between my 5 kids and all 6 neighbor kids they managed to dig a hole right in the middle of this pile that is about 3 foot deep and 2 foot wide.They wanted a pond to put fish in but after me telling them fish won't survive in it and that they should fill that hole back in it is still a hole.I did notice yesterday that instead of putting dirt back into it they have pulled grass and threw it on top of the water.I feel sorry for whoever comes and walks across that not knowing it's a hole.I will hope to have my camara ready for when they suddenly fall in.Yes you can bet I would laugh very hard to see such a sight.Now let's stop talking about rain and move on to something more exciting.Friday I set up everything for a yard sale.I had a ton of clothes to get rid of and I did accomplish that.Friday I made 15.00 and some change and Saturday I made 3.00 and some change.Might not sound like much but what if I said EVERYTHING in my sale was 10 cents.Yep I priced EVERYTHING for 10 cents each except the small toy's and I just gave those away.By Saturday afternoon I was tired of fighting the drizzle and a lady was looking for clothes so I emailed her and told her to come get what she needed free of charge.While I was waiting on her another man and woman came and asked how much I would take for all the clothes....I told them to come back at 6:00pm and they could have them free of charge.I managed to give away every piece of clothing in my yard :).I went to some sales Saturday morning.I didn't find much but I did find a bigger computer desk that was sturdy for $4.00 so I bought it.It's still in the rig awaiting to come in the house.Hopefully in June I can have alot more stuff and will be able to have another sale so I can work on my tan at the same time.I better go to bed or I will never wake up in the morning.Good night and check back later for a new post.

Is it a sign?

I recently noticed my underwear and such have been getting very scarce here lately.I had thoughts that maybe the dryer was eating them or maybe I was wearing them without noticing I was.Surely I would have known if I had wore that pair or that bra.I didn't think I was losing my mind yet but then I thought maybe I was.Well I'm not losing my mind and I really had not wore them.I was cleaning the kids bedrooms and I saved Justin's for last since he has a room to himself and it generally looks clean.I walked into his room,looked around and only seen that I needed to make the bed and change the air freshner.Boy was I wrong.As I was making the bed I found all the stuff that belongs in my 1st aid kit hid safetly in the pillow case.I then noticed his coat in the corner with his pillows.Ok coats don't belong in bedrooms..they belong in the closet by the front door.So I grabbed that coat and my underwear flew.I then started cleaning the corner and finding all my lost possesions and Kelsey's skirts.KELSEY'S skirts in my sons room?Is he gay?Why in the world would a 10 year old boy steal his mothers underwear and sister's skirts?Now this has got me thinking.Should I approach him as soon as he walks through the door or save it for supper chatter or just wait?

Ya, I'm a bubble fanatic.How do you do?I got the avon naturals rep n tale for you.I'm so excited, it's my favorite time of day.I love to burn my buns,chasin trophy suds.But don't clap your hands,to the stompin of the feet,because Yahey's like me, he can't keep a steady beat.no, m mm, Ok so now your thinking I have lost my mind.I will come up with more to this later.I had troubles with my bubbles tonight and it got me thinkin lol.

It's Wednesday..We have made it 1/2 way thru the week

We finally made it to Wednesday.I have got up on time all 3 day's this week.I didn't do alot yesterday since my dad and cousin came to visit and today my dad and my friend came to visit so I still didn't get much done.I enjoy company...it gives me a reason to do nothing.I did go to the grocery store this morning.I did throw out the 3rd dead fish and when I went back to the tank 5 seconds later the 4th and final fish was floating.He was swimming fine when I walked to the door.I guess he must have been heart broken.I was GOING to mow the yard but when I checked the fluids I found water in the gas and muddy water in the oil "sigh".I should be getting everything ready for a yard sale but it's suppose to rain Saturday so that just kinda blows the mood.Maybe I will wait til May so it will be warmer and I can sit outside and tan.I had to stop and pop steaks in the oven.I soaked them in some kind of marinade...I hope they turn out ok.I went to my Aunts for Easter.I don't get to see her very often so I decided to pack the kids up and take off.It was fun.Well my kiddos are SUPPOSE to be cleaning their rooms.I told them anything left laying on the floor will go to the trash man on Tuesday.Yes that really happens around here.I only tell them for 30 day's to clean then after that it all goes.It gets so bad.How hard is it to bend down and pick up toy's and throw them in the toy box?How hard is it to put dirty laundry in the hamper?It must be really hard!Uh Oh it's almost time for Donald.I better hurry and make it look like I was busy today.

Just Another Manic Monday

Is it spring?It has been cold!Just send summer and skip spring!My mommy got here Thursday afternoon and left to go home this afternoon.I guess it was like a 5 day 4 night vacation.I have been working alot on the farm trying to get everything in it's place and watching it grow.It's really just a game.I alway's wanted a real farm until I started playing that and now I do not want a real one.Not alot happened today.I got gas and grocery's and got the kids some toy's.I think tomorrow I will hit the redbox and see what they got that I haven't seen yet.Bought 4 fish last week and still got 1 living.Fish sure go to fish heaven fast around here.I finally got my printer cable thingy and so now I can print,scan or copy anything I want.I'll probaly print my kids hands again just so I can see how much they have grown since the last time I done it.I was going through my jacket pockets today of the jacket I never wear and my drivers liscence was in there.Boy I have traveled alot of miles without them.I guess I am an ok driver since I didn't get pulled over.Welp I am off to bed.I will be back to post another blog tomorrow.

It was a beautiful day!I finally went to bed at a little after 2:30am this morning and was woke up when my sister called at 8:45 to make sure I was up to get everything done.I was suppose to meet my cousin at wal marts to do the grocery shopping for the reunion at 9:30am.I got to the stop light in fron of wal marts right on time and she called to say she would not be able to meet me at wal marts since she was bringing Grandpa in for the reunion.I was proud of her for doing that since I really wanted my Grandpa at the get together.I got in the store and picked up 273.00 worth of food and got back out in 30 minutes.Yes 30 minutes was all it took!After leaving wal marts I had to come home and load more stuff then off to the park I went with 5 kids and my mother in tow.I was expecting 100 people or more but thankfully only about 30 showed up.It was a relief since we was a bit late on getting the grill started.We did raise 83.51 for my aunt and uncle in the silent auction to help defray funeral costs for my cousin.The Easter Bunny showed up too!I got dressed in a swap lol.No kidding it was a bit soggy but it was the only spot the kids couldn't see me.It was a ton of fun and I even got sun burned a little bit on my neck.I guess my face was saved due to haveing paint on my face.So now I will add some pics taken during the event.And I will remember that next year I am going to hold the get together the first part of June so it's a little bit warmer and no huge Holidays near it.

Well tomorrow is the big day and I am down to point 0.I have the beans on to make chili and got everything to make potato salad.The kids had no school today so it has been hectic then with mom and dad here picking on each other and the kids it's even more hectic.I had thought about doing something with my hair tomorrow but I might not have to because I could be bald by then "SIGH".It's drizzeling out today so the kids can't go play and it isen't that warm.I'll blog more in a bit i'm sure.Ok I am back to blog more.I have a great start on the chili and potato salad and plans to meet my cousin at 9:00am so we can finish shopping for the food.We do still have a ton of food to get but I totally believe we have it all under control.I can't believe we got so much planned and people contacted in 14 day's.My mom is still here and my dad just left to go get coolers and items for the silent auction.I have 3 kids bathed and 2 more to go.I believe the girls are cleanng their room and the oldest 2 boy's are in bed.Kaden on the other hand is standing here eating raw taters as mom peels them.It's supposed to be a beautiful day tomorrow and I hope it don't change.I got my bunny suit now I just have to get velcro or a safety pin by noon tomorrow so my hat won't fall off.I am so very excited.It sounds like we are going to have 100 people show up.Thats alot of people.Ok so I better get a move on or I am not going to get much sleep tonight (which I probably won't anyway).Thanks for checking out my blog and check back for lot's of pics tomorrow night.

.I'm not sure where to put the thingy I got from E and after sitting here and browsing through everything I could find I decided this might work right here.I have never met E but I would someday like to do that.E is very funny and she alway's gives me a good laugh.So if you need a good laugh just skip on over to E's blog.You will not be sorry you did!Now as far as yesterday goes (or went) I had to have Kaden in Springfield at 1:00pm to visit the dentist.Before going to the dentist I took my friend and her son to try to pick up a car.Thats a long story and we left with no car but did get a stolen car report made :).See we can accomplish what needs to get done.Anyway Kaden has 11 bad teeth out of 20.They are going to call me and scedule a surgery date.I would be concerned but Brenten and Ashley have already been through it so I kinda know what to expect.He will come home with a pretty white fake smile.My bunny costume should be in today or tomorrow.I have wanted to be a bunny for many years.Ok so maybe I'm a little weird but I don't mind at all.I want to wear it Saturday for the family get together.Next I'll buy a santa suit.I had to buy 4 more goldfish since the first 2 got fed soda and lot's of food.So far only 1 of the new fish turned sideways but the kids must have prayed for it because this morning he was swimming again.I got my new printer,scanner,copier to find I had to buy a usb cord thingy.They was more then I wanted to pay at wal marts since I knew I had one around here somewhere so I went and bought a cheap one off ebay.Now I just gotta wait.Wow I can tell it's getting warmer.My scedule over the winter includd barely anything and now it is jammed packed.On April 4th a benifit was set up for 2 of my cousins (they are brother and sister) for some bad luck each had over the winter.I attended that and it was a succes.April 8th I had to take Kaden to Springfield.On April 11th is our family get together that I planned in less then 14 day's.April 12th is the Easter egg hunt that we always attend.April 16th I have a meeting at school.April 18th is the city wide yard sale (I have a ton of stuff to put in it).Then who knows what will come up next.I kinda like being busy it gives me something to do.Whoo Woo I got a lunch date this afternoon.My friend and me loves food!

Is It Monday Already?

I awoke this morning telling myself "it's going to be a beautiful day" haha who was I kidding?The wind is blowing hard and it is cold!I haven't wore my coat in so long tand I don't want to start now so I doubled my shirts.The 11th better hurry up and get here or I am going to have a list so long it takes 50 pages.I think when I work so the more I work the more I think.I have added several more food items and games to the list.I bought an Easter Bunny costume to wear on that day so hopefully it dosen't scare to many kids.So far I haven't got much accomplished today.I got the oldest 3 on the bus and taxi'd Kaden to school and I sorted bead neclaces,tops,and jumping frogs to give to the kids.I have 2 packages that have to be shipped oday so I definatly have to do that.

How will I ever manage?

There are 7 people that live under this 1 roof.Every time I think I can get help to do all the deep cleaning and rearanging 6 people run away or plop their behinds down in a chair and become immobile!I get tired of it.Yes I totally understand 5 go to school Monday-Friday and 1 goes to work Monday -Friday but I don't think they notice how much auctually gets done around here Monday-Friday.

Playing Catch Up

Yesterday was a boring day so I sat and thought of stuff to do.I finally decided to go to my cousin's house and stuff Easter eggs.Well we didn't get the eggs stuffed because the packs of gum was to big (or maybe the eggs to small).So we just sat around and talked.It was very peaceful.I was reading the newspaper last night and found another relative to call about the family get together.I called him and found he had a brother also but I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone when I called.I will just keep trying until they answer.So far it sounds like it's going to be a great turn out.So far I have everything planned as far as food and games go.I did add yet another thing to the food and that is chili and coffee.I was informed it won't be a Croney family get together with out coffee.I have to go check the park today and see if there is electric.If there isen't it will be ok because I have a thingy that converts for my cigarette lighter.I have been watching the weather for the 11th and so far it's 60 degrees with a 30% chance of rain.Tonight is a chili supper-auction for 2 of my cousins.I am very excited about it.This means I don't have to cook tonight!I better get dressed and get started or I will never be finished.Oh yea I have to go ship packages too!Yep time to get busy.

Hurry Up Summer

Where to begin?Ok I will begin here.I was given a small computer desk today and I had to drive to Willow Springs to get it.It's not really a long drive so it was no problem.On the way home my phone rang but I didn't answer since it was not a local number.After we got home my phone rang again once again I did not answer.Then I decided to run to McDonalds and grab supper instead of cooking (yes I have lazy day's).On the way to McDonalds I took the dirt road to avoid traffic and decided to check my voice mails.I was more then excited to realize it was no stranger!I called Debo back to find out he has his monster truck finished and ready to play with.He told me he will get me and everyone I want to take with me FREE tickets to go watch the monster truck show on July 18th.Of course I want to go I mean who would pass up monster trucks?NOT ME!Yes I would drive 5 hours for 2 hours of fun.The thing is....Debo is Shane's friend (Shane is my uhhh ex?).He also mentioned Shane was having a hard time getting over me and I am all he talks about.Yes I would almost believe that since I hacked my little sisters umm account she has useing my email yesterday to find he had left a message asking how me and the kids were doing.Will he EVER give up?I am happy where I am right now!For those of you who don't know I will tell you..I dated the whole summer last year.Yes I met rich men,poor men,nice men,jerk men,handsome men,and ugly men.The kids and I had alot of fun and got to do alot of things I never imagined we would EVER get to do.We went camping at the lake in Hollister Mo.We went to the lake nearly every day.We had more free lunches then I care to count.We rode around in brand new lifted trucks.Heck we even went out in the big rig (semi).We went to monster truck shows.And we had alot of "us" time.We would drive 5 hours with no map.We would just load up and go in the general direction of the town we had in mind and believe it or not we alway's found it without getting lost.I guess it was kind of a care free summer.But now we have a man that we adore and love and we think he adores us and loves us too.If we travel this summer there will be 7 of us instead of 6.We won't be taking trips when it's 100 degrees out with no a/c and we won't be cramped and we don't have to worry about anything blowing out of the bed of the truck and we don't have to worry about breaking down beside the road.Nope not us for we invested in a new ride.Oh geez here I am blabbing about stuff that probably NOBODY want to know.But hey I was just reliving memories.
